D.M. Keith, the UK’s largest ŠKODA dealer group, has successfully completed the roll-out of a new showroom management system, Dealerweb Showroom.
The new software, which is installed across D.M. Keith’s six-site ŠKODA and SEAT dealer network throughout northern England, will streamline the sales process and give senior management a real-time reporting mechanism to support business decisions.
D.M. Keith is using the new showroom management system – installed at the end of 2016 – to manage its more complex sales administration needs as the group expands. The family-run group, which celebrated its 40th anniversary representing ŠKODA this year, has worked hard to modernise and renovate its six dealerships. Most recently, D.M. Keith refurbished its multi-brand flagship York dealership, home to one of the group’s six ŠKODA franchises, as well as its SEAT business – the most modern site in the group also benefits from the installation of the new showroom management system.
Dealerweb Showroom will enable the group to more effectively manage enquiries and sales consistently across all its sites, while giving D.M. Keith’s sales managers and senior staff access to detailed financial reporting with Dealerweb’s DealBook module, providing real-time insights into productivity and profitability levels.
Dealerweb Showroom has already helped the group process over 2,000 customer enquiries. The system’s installation has coincided with a particularly busy period for the group, following the start of sales for the new ŠKODA Kodiaq SUV.
Craig Carter, Sales Director at D.M. Keith, commented: “2016 has been an important year for the group, particularly as we expanded with two new sites. As the group has grown, it was important to introduce a standard showroom management system across all of our sites, to make the enquiry and sales process as efficient as possible.”
Dealerweb has replaced D.M. Keith’s previous enquiry management system, and covers every aspect of the group’s sales process for new and used vehicles. It can be used to manage leads, configure quotes, build customer orders and automate sales activity and profit and F&I reporting. Every member of D.M. Keith’s new and used car sales teams has received on-site training from Dealerweb to enable staff to get the most from the new lead management system.
James Hill, Sales Operations Director at Dealerweb, commented: “For a rapidly-growing and successful business such as D.M. Keith, the implementation of a fully-integrated showroom management system can help promote group-wide efficiency from day one. With more dealerships on their roster, the backroom administrative needs can increase drastically in a short period of time, so it is essential to have a clear and effective management software underpinning their increased sales reporting needs.”
Dealerweb Showroom is a fully integrated system that manages the full sales process, from initial customer enquiry through to placement of an order, and is already in use by more of the UK’s leading dealers than any other dedicated showroom management system. It is a ‘Software as a Service’ solution, meaning upgrades can be made remotely. Dealerweb’s per-site licence policy also means that updates will be made without any further cost to D.M. Keith.
